SoftballI considered softball as my getaway. It relaxed me, and I felt like it kept me sane. I played softball for two years, and I absolutely fell in love with it. I've met so many amazing people throughout my softball years, and I've learned many life experiences. It's definitely shaped me in positive ways. I've learned how to work my hardest and fail without beating myself up, and I've learned how to succeed, but still be aware that I could work 10x harder. Although I chose school over playing another year, I'll never forget the lessons it's taught me.

AvidAVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. Being in AVID has taught me many lessons in life. I've learned the true meaning of family and I've realized the future I deserve for myself. This year I was honored to have such a dedicated learning facilitator. She has pushed us to attend Universities, and every single person in my senior avid class plans to attend one, including me. It has helped me realize that my future can be extremely bright if I put my mind to it. I will be attending Chico State in the fall thanks to the help from AVID.

Art ClubI've always realized the beauty of art, but I didn't know I'd meet so many amazing people while enjoying it. In this class, we have served our high school in needed ways. We have had meetings, and we've served in concession stands for different sports to help raise money for our senior art trip. I appreciate the stress the art club carries off my shoulder, it's a relief. I am glad that I joined this club, not only for the art, but for my classmates also. I have gotten close to many people because of it.
